Reflections of Easter

Wow! It is hard to believe Easter has come and gone. Next, Alexis' 3rd birthday! It is all going by way too fast! Anyways, the Easter festivities began at our church with an Reserection Celebration. The kids had a great time, and it reinforced what Easter is really about, Our Savior Jesus Christ. Sometimes I think our holidays are taken over by the commercial take on them. Well. not this year! Now do not get me wrong. I love the Easter Bunny. Who doesn't love a solid chocolate bunny, and the looks on the kids faces when they have to scale a tree to find their eggs.? However, the thought of what Easter is truly about takes my breath away!

We had a great meal and a great time with all of our family. It was actually nice, and we got to hunt for eggs outside. 

Easter is a truly a wonderful holiday, but please remember what Jesus did for us everyday!
