Kids say the darnedest things!

After reading MckMama's post about the discussions she had had with her children lately, I was inspired. Over the past few days here are the conversations I have had with my children. Enjoy!

"Alexis do you need to go to the bathroom? Okay so let's go. No, you cannot poop outside. No not in the rocks. I know the dog does, but people use the toilet. No, you cannot become a dog. May we please head to the bathroom? No Zoey is not going to use the toilet. Because she is a dog. No, you can't poop in the rocks. We are going to the bathroom NOW!"

"Alexis what do you want for breakfast? No, you may not have a brownie. Because we need to eat some healthy and good for us to start our day. Your tummy hurts? It is too bad that is hurts, but a brownie is not going to make it better. No, it will not keep you from going to the hospital. No, you may not just lick the brownie. How about pancakes and a banana?"

"Brent I kiss daddy because I love him. No, it is not gross. You are very lucky that you have 2 parents who love you and each other so much. Well, I am sorry it creeps you out. Someday you will get married and kiss your wife in front of your kids. Oh, you're not getting married and not having kids. You're living with me forever? I love you too, but forever is a long time!"

"Lexi, Money (my mother-in-law)  is at great-grandpa's house. Did you ask where great-grandma is? Well, she is in heaven. No, we can't call the doctor. No, the doctor can't go to heaven to make her better. I know Money needs her mommy, but her mommy died and is in heaven with Jesus. No, you can't call Jesus on my phone. There are no phones in heaven. You can talk to Jesus though. Alexis, no matter how much you talk to Jesus, Money's mommy is not coming home. Do you want a brownie?"

"Lexi who is in this picture (my senior picture)? Yes, you are right that is mommy! Who is in this picture (daddy's senior picture)?" Alexis replies "Daddy, and he's gots hair!" "He has yellow hair (that is what she refers too as blonde hair)." I thought I would pee my pants! I don't think my husband thought it was too funny.

Never dull around here! I do love it. I get a great laugh everyday without leaving home!
