Back To Normal...well maybe!

The past few weeks have been trying for us. We have fought an unidentifiable virus that first infected Alexis. It has now moved to Todd (not nearly as bad, Thank God!!!). Todd is also battling an upper respiratory infection. He has finished his antibiotic, but I think he needs round 2! Brent was sent home on Friday, but his symptoms self resolved within an hour of being sent home. I am starting to battle something. I just wish I would get it and be done! Sleep deprivation has weakened my immune system I am sure. However, all viruses and infections put aside we were bound to have some fun this Labor Day. We put up a tent in the front yard. We started a fire. We roasted and toasted till our hearts were continent. We went for a ride in the Ranger, but the kids started to fall asleep after 13 minutes so we returned home. I got to sleep outside with the kids since Todd's health was in worse shape then mine. I know one thing for sure. Either the ground has gotten harder, or I am getting older. I am leaning to the hardening of the ground. I will blame the hardening on El Nino or President Bush. They always get blamed for everything. :)
