Not Me Monday

>> Monday, December 7, 2009

I most certainly did not make countless trips to the local grocery store, pharmacy, and McDonalds this week. I am always organized and get what I need in one trip. I was not embarrassed at all that the day I went to the grocery store 3 times in the same day and the same girl checked me out All 3 times. She did not say as I laid out my items on the belt "Oh back again?"! In my defense I  did place my brother-in-law, his wife, and my mother-in-law on house arrest this week after they all came down with colds and Troy's next treatment plan was put on hold. I did all their running so no one would be exposed to something new and so everyone can get this show on the road and Troy can get back to living his life!
P.S. I am thankful I could do things for them now since soon I will not be able too.

I did not threaten my brother-in-law with any type of bodily harm if he left his house this past week. I most certainly did not leave a note on his shop door telling anyone who may have sneezed this week to go home. I would never be over-protective and bossy. I would never have to remind people that Troy needs to stay healthy and to leave if they were not. I did not sign that letter I never posted as Nurse Ratchett.

I am not worried sick about these coming weeks. I am not feeling helpless and fearful of the unknown and the uncertainity that comes with not being in the trenches so to speak. I am not wavering in my faith from time to time (Sorry).

Oh who am I kidding? I am a nervous wreck and wish I could make cancer vanish so no one has to suffer!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Confessions From A Work-At-Home Mom December 7, 2009 at 2:52 PM

Cancer is a BEAST-- but it's a beatable beast. My daughter's Godmother just learned last week she's in remission from Stage 4 ovarian cancer, so you can tackle whatever challenge is facign you! You and your family will be in my prayers.
